Lovey Dovey Bears - Doodle Palace
It is time for another new release at Doodle Palace! This week they are introducing Chester the Easter Rabbit and Lovey Dovey Bears; the latter of which I used on my card today.
The layout of the card was inspired by this card in the SCS gallery and is for their Featured Stamper Challenge this week - FS158. I haven't ever participated in this particular challenge, but it was lots of fun to choose from HamiltonGal's gallery.
For the challenge you have CASE the selected card, but need to change at least 2 things when creating your own version. I decided to...
- Use a wider color palette vs. the original's Black, White and Teal
- Put a strip of patterned paper in place of the ribbon
- Pierce a line above paper strip, instead of adding brads
- Rotate the layout for a horizontal card
To add a little 'dazzle' I used the clear COPIC Spica pen on the heart and rose, then stamped the flourish in Versamark Dazzle ink.
I hope you will check out what the other Doodle Palace Princesses are doing with the new release. They are all linked up in the left sidebar.
