Happy Birthday Little Lady - DRS Designs

Happy Tuesday!! It is time for me to share another DRS Designs creation with all of you.

For today's card I used two different rubber stamps from DRS Designs: Ladybug Stackup (G695) and Ladybug Birthday Greeting (G576). I decided to keep the colors and layout pretty simple, so the image would stand out. Since ladybugs are traditionally red and black, I decided to add some gray and white to the mix for my color scheme.

I embossed the red strip using the Swiss Dots embossing folder and ran a black ink pad over the top to accentuate the raised area; giving it a ladybug-look. To finish the card off I used my Bow Easy tool and some gray ribbon to create the little bow.

Make sure to check out what the rest of the DRS Designs DT has been creating lately. All of their blogs are linked to the left.

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, comments are greatly appreciated!

Rubber Stamps: (Ladybug Stackup G695, Ladybug Birthday Greeting G576); Cardstock: Neenah (Solar White), Hobby Lobby (Black, Gray, Red); Ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Markers: COPIC; Ribbon: Hobby Lobby; Die Cut: Spellbinders (Labels 11, Mega Rectangle, Mega Rectangle Scalloped); Border Punch: Upper Crest: Embossing: Cuttlebug (Swiss Dots); Other: Bow Easy
