For today's project I have made a little 'treat' for you. Using a clear pillow box and one of the new Freaky Little Friends from Whimsie Doodles, I created a cute holder for a mini chocolate bar.
I cut the pillow box using a Sizzix die and some ShortCuts Clear Cardstock. I used a couple scraps of patterned paper as a band around the box and after the chocolate was inside I tied the ribbon to help keep it closed. Before adding little 'frankie' I did some doodling on the edges of the green strip to match his forehead. :)
Good thing this was easy to put together because my daughter had me open it about 2 minutes after I took this photo so she could eat the chocolate.
Here is a look at the complete Freaky Little Friends set. You can purchase it now at the Whimsie Doodles online store for only $5!!
