SPELLing - Whimsie Doodles September Release - Post 1

Today is the day - Whimsie Doodles September Release Day!! This month is so chock full of new sets and images that I couldn't contain my release day samples within just one post. For my first post I have used the NEW Halloween Funny Tags digital stamp set to create a cute little tag for a Halloween treat.

To create my tag I printed, colored and cut out the chosen joke, then did the same for the corresponding punch line. These were mounted on the front and back of a hand cut green tag, then tied onto the treat holder with some orange and black cording.

Here is a picture of the tag on the tube treat holder. I decorated this by placing a piece of patterned paper on top of a scallop-punched black cardstock, then wrapping it around the tube. (On a side note: No, I don't plan on giving out mini buttons as treats. To avoid eating the goodies for my sample pictures I had to keep it non-edible. I don't think eating a whole bag of M&Ms would be a good thing... yummy for sure, but not good.)

The Halloween Funny Tags digital set has lots of cute jokes and punchlines. Here is a look at the entire set:
