You Little Devil - Card Patterns 82

Happy Friday! I am kicking off the weekend with a card using the latest Card Patterns Sketch (#82) and Whimsie Doodles' new Freaky Little Friends digital stamp set.

After die-cutting the cute li'l devil, I daubbed some desert sand ink over it before coloring. The same color ink was added to the sentiment block. I thought this helped to tie in the clean, printed pieces with the distressing on the background.

The black strip of cardstock was embossed with Swiss Dots, then I used a white ink pad to highlight the raised portions. For the final touch I hand-stitched the three Xs in the upper left. I normally would have added gems or buttons, but I decided to try something new. I think I like it. :)

Here is a look at the complete Freaky Little Friends set. You can purchase it now at the Whimsie Doodles online store for only $5!!
