Happy Haunting - Whimsie Wednesday 54

This week for the Whimsie Wednesday Challenge (WWC54), on the Whimsie Doodles blog, Melyssa is challenging our fans and readers to create an Off Colour Project. In other words...
Make a card using colours you normally wouldn't think to use.  For example red and green are almost always  "Christmas" colours and orange and black are "Halloween" colours.  So for this challenge mix it up, but stay away from the usual.

For my sample I used the Spells digital stamp from last month's release (which was chock full of great Halloween images). Even though the colors I used for this card are becoming more 'standard' for Halloween projects, I still think of the traditional as orange and black.

Since the papers are pretty bold I didn't add any extra embellishments. The image was die cut and the sentiment is a tag from the paper line I used.

Challenges used for this card:
Whimsie Wednesday Challenge - #54 Off Colour
Paper Issues - Halloween

And now a SPECIAL OFFER for fans and readers of my blog: Use the coupon code below (ALICIA10), the next time you shop at the Whimsie Doodles Online Store and receive 10% OFF your order!

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, comments are greatly appreciated!

Digital Stamp: Whimsie Doodles (Spells); Patterned Paper: echo park (Happy Halloween); Cardstock: Neenah (Solar White); Ink: Laser Printer; Markers: COPIC; Die Cut: Spellbinders (Labels 2)
