Now that the holiday and gift-giving season is upon us, I thought I would start making some gift tags. The new Snowgirl's Basket and Snowboy's Gift digital images from Whimsie Doodles helped me get the creating started.
To start my gift tags off I die-cut some clear cardstock from ShortCuts using a Sizzix die. The edges were inked with White StazOn, then I stamped some snowflakes in white along one edge. The images were colored with red and green COPICs and adhered to the tags with Dimensionals.
Once all of the StazOn was dry, I added red gems to the center of the snowflakes. The seam binding (thanks Melyssa) tied through the top was originally white, but I colored it with COPICs so it would match the images. As a final touch I tied some bakers twine in a bow around the binding - I just LOVE my sampler pack from The Twinery.
And now a SPECIAL OFFER for fans and readers of my blog: Use the coupon code below (ALICIA10), the next time you shop at the Whimsie Doodles Online Store and receive 10% OFF your order!
Thanks for stopping by and, as always, comments are greatly appreciated!
