I am hosting this week's challenge at the Whimsie Doodles (WWC61) blog and I have asked our readers to create a card using a countdown of items I selected. You can check out all of the details HERE.
For my challenge card I have used the new Bauble Leah as the focus of my card. After coloring her with COPIC markers I die cut the image with Spellbinders' Labels 17 die. The same shape and size of die was used to create the pink mat below the image. For the left side I chose a slightly larger die and cut only a portion of it out. Both the side piece and pink piece were embossed with snowflakes.
The image and two embossed die cuts were then adhered on top of the card base which was covered in 4 strips of patterned paper. To finish off the image, and to add some shine, I applied clear glitter to the angel wings, halo and ornament she was sitting on. A red gem was placed in each corner of the image die cut and a 5th red gem was added to the holly berries in her hair.
I hope you will check out the challenge post HERE and play along. You can be entered to win a FREE Whimsie Doodles image!!
