A Belated Valentine's Day Card

I know, I know. Valentine's Day has already passed. A few of us on the Whimsie Doodles Design Team did a Valentine's Day card swap and this is the card I made to send out. Since I was a bit late in getting it out, and wanted to wait to post on here until they were received, this post is a bit belated.

This card uses Whimsie Doodles' Li'l Cupid rubber stamp set. I stamped the XOX image with Versamark onto a white shipping tag, then heat embossed it with white powder. It is kind of hard to see in the picture, but I swear it is there. Over the top of the "O" in the stamped image I placed a paper-pieced heart that was also stamped using the Li'l Cupid set.

Just the details… (1) Used white embossing powder to embossing the XOX from the stamp set on the white tag, (2) Used my Bow Easy to tie a double bow out of sheer pink ribbon, (3) Placed a die cut heart on inside for personal note.

And now a SPECIAL OFFER for fans and readers of my blog: Use the coupon code below (ALICIA10), the next time you shop at the Whimsie Doodles Online Store and receive 10% OFF your order!

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, comments are greatly appreciated!

Rubber Stamps: Whimsie Doodles (Li'l Cupid); Patterned Paper: Making Memories; Cardstock: ShortCuts (Clear), Neenah (Natural Ice); Die Cut: Spellbinders (Heart); Other: Sheer Ribbon, Paper Heart Doily, White Embossing Powder
