For the base of my bookmark I cut a 2" x 7" piece from a ShortCuts frosted full sheet. The frosted cardstock is a great weight for a bookmark and because it is made of plastic, it should hold up to a bit of wear and tear.
I used Woodware USA's Patch A House stamp set for all of the images and text. After stamping and cutting out the tree, bird and grass, I colored them with COPIC markers. Before placing these pieces on the bookmark I used the 'chirp.. chirp' stamp from the set, with some StazOn white ink, to create a small stamped background section.
You can check out all of the challenge details HERE. I hope you will play along with us!
Just the details… (1) The frosted material allows the text of the book to show through, (2) some orange twine was strung through a hole I punched and covered with yellow polka dot paper, (3) used white StazOn ink to repeatedly stamp the sentiment on a portion of the bookmark.
