Gifts of Love and Joy - Woodware USA Challenge #40

Pin ItThis week at the Woodware USA blog, we are challenging our fans and readers to create a project using a new technique (WWUSAC40). For a bit now I have wanted to try the Decreasing Apertures technique shared on THIS video, so it was a great time to give it a try.

For the image and sentiment in the 'window' I used Woodware USA's Tree of Gifts clear stamp set. The patterned paper layers were cut from a new Christmas paper pad I bought at Hobby Lobby.

To see all of the other design team member creations, and to find out how to play along and be entered to win the monthly prize, click HERE.
Just the details… (1) Created my own glittered frame using die cuts and red glitter, (2) I used different dies to create the apertures and some of the layers were adhered with foam tape.

Challenges used for this card:

Thanks for stopping by and, as always, comments are greatly appreciated!

Stamps: Woodware USA (Tree of Gifts); Patterned Paper: The Paper Studio (Christmas Basics); Cardstock: Georgia Pacific (white); Inks: Memento (Rhubarb Stalk), Studio G (green); Glitter: Martha Stewart (garnet); Die Cuts: Spellbinders (Labels 17, Labels 16, Circles, Small Scalloped Circles)
